Foreman

Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical drawings and welding documentation to plan work activities.

• Perform and supervise welding operations using ARC, TIG, and MIG processes in line with approved procedures.

• Inspect weld preparation and completed work to ensure quality, compliance, and reliability.

• Identify and mitigate welding risks, including potential deformation.

• Conduct welding tests, self-checks, and report issues to line management.

• Supervise and manage team members, including working hours and certification follow-up.

• Share best practices, work methods, and safety standards with the team.

• Lead safety talks and report training needs.

• Maintain a clean and organized workshop; report faulty equipment for repair or replacement.

• Ensure compliance with all HSEQ, safety, quality, and environmental policies.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support training of new hires when required.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques (ARC, TIG, MIG), inspection methods, and filler materials.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Sound understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and industry practices.

• Good leadership and team management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues.

• Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic environment.
